I am a Royal Society University Research Fellow (URF) in the Theoretical Atomic and Molecular Physics and Astrophysics group (TAMPA) at UCL. I did my undergraduate physics degree at St. John's College Oxford and subsequently obtained my doctorate from Oxford University in 1999. I moved to UCL in January 2002 to take up my URF after two years as a Junior Research fellow at Trinity College Oxford. I am a member of the Institute of Physics and a Chartered Physicist.

My research focuses on the theoretical properties of Bose-Einstein condensates (BECs) in dilute gases, especially finite temperature dynamical properties. Please see the links for further details of my research and for copies of my papers.

I currently teach the second year quantum mechanics (PHYS2B22) module for the evening BSc physics degree.
